What you’ll be doing
The position is responsible for ensuring effective training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results. Training programs focus on a variety of topics, including product knowledge, company philosophy, and customer service and leadership skills.
Conducts needs assessments, designs and develops training programs and facilitates the delivery of both custom and corporate training programs.
Measures the effectiveness of training to ensure a return on investment.
Preparation of annual training budget and organizational plan Coordination of career planning & development and succession planning activities together with Human Resources Director Customizes, designs and delivers training programs as required
Identify learning coaches and coordinate Train the Trainer program
Facilitate monthly departmental trainers meetings, get feedback from trainers
Coordinate certification of all employees on technical skills Maintain accurate inventory of all training equipment and materialsBuild and maintain organizational support for the activities of Problem Solving Teams and Quality Improvement Teams
Monitors monthly Guest Voice reports. Prepares reports and communicates monthly results with the Guidance Team, Leaders and posts results to notice boards.
Monitors and communicates weekly Guest Engagement flash reports
Attends and helps facilitate Quality Improvement Teams.
Coordinates S.W.O.T Analysis Process throughout the Property.
Take the Lead of Innovation Championship and encourages project implementation throughout the property.
Helps drive company values and philosophy and ensures all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and vision.
Required Skills
University degree 1 - 3 years experience as a Training Manager, preferably in a 5 star hotel.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and hotel staff to their understanding.
Ability to focus attention on details and be able to organize, prioritize and follow up.
Demonstrates highly developed leadership skills set
Male candidates should be completed military service or 2 years
Must be able to take initiative and work productively within any given period of time, unsupervised. Should be aggressive and must work well under pressure.
Should be creative, innovative and strive for continuous improvement.
