Job Description
Sales Executive will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.
- Compile periodicly actions plans to develop new accounts and grow incremental revenues from existing accounts
- Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
- Increase number of sales by forming and maintaining professional business relations with prospect accounts or clients
- Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Prepare contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Attend Sales events, as required
- Answer guest queries in a prompt and professional manner
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Manager and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
Required Skills
- Have University degree in related fields.
- Have a class B driver's license
- Knowledge of the hotel management systems
- Experience in Banquet Sales in an international five star hotel chain
- Able to communicate with all levels of employees
- Have a good command of written and spoken English
- Good organisational and administration skills
- High level of IT skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service
- Excellent communication skills.
