Job Description
We are looking for a Host/Hostess is responsible for delivering great service to all guests, being knowledgeable and professional in doing so. Host/Hostess is mostly responsible for receiving and seating the guests and having good communication with the waiting staff and kitchen about the guests.
- Responsible for doing all preparations for the service, like preparing table planning and menus.
- Ensure all menus and are clean and ready for operation on floors.
- Any specific menus (buffet, brunch, promotions, etc.) have been printed and are ready for use.
- Make sure to work with clean equipment and surfaces.
- Ensure to be fully aware of the promotions and discounts.
- Ensure daily emails and reservations have been checked.
- Make sure that he/she is always enthusiastic and delivers great service to all guests, is the first contact for the guests and should always be aware of that in answering the phone or speaking with the guests directly.
- Keep an eye on guests when they move or something changes and communicate this with the team and kitchen.
- Take orders and give information to guests if required and communicate this to colleagues.
- Communicate with the chefs and kitchen for any special request, dietary requirements or restriction from the guests.
- During the service, the hostess should be able to deal with challenges, changes and keep an eye on table turnovers.
- If necessary prepare orders like drinks and prepare snacks and bread. -Responsible for cleaning tasks during and after service.
- Check with managers or coordinators for any large party reservations.
- Ensure package forecasts for HB, BB and FB are printed every day.
Required Skills
- Must have at least one year of work experience as a Host/Hostess.
- Fluent Turkish and an additional language is a must (English)
- Fluent Arabic or Russian Speaking
