İNGİLİZCE ÖĞRETMENİ-SINAV ÖĞRETMENİ TOEFL

As Şişli British Town Language Schools we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic TOEFL Teacher to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing students for success on the TOEFL iBT exam by enhancing their English language proficiency, test-taking skills, and overall confidence.
This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons, personalized learning strategies, and a student-centered approach to teaching.

• A Bachelor’s degree in English Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Language and Literature, or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in teaching TOEFL or other standardized English proficiency tests such as IELTS or PTE.
• Familiarity with the TOEFL iBT structure, scoring system, and effective test preparation strategies.
• Experience working with diverse student groups, including adults and younger learners, with a focus on adapting lessons to suit their individual needs and learning goals.
• A disciplined work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to align with the institute's mission and values.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a positive and motivating classroom environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for in-person and online teaching, such as interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and TOEFL-specific practice platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to design and deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with TOEFL iBT requirements.
• The ability to deliver student-focused lessons that emphasize speaking, writing, and other key skills while fostering confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
  
  Responsibilities
• Teach all sections of the TOEFL iBT exam, including Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing, ensuring students are well-prepared for all components.
• Develop and deliver effective lesson plans tailored to the individual and group needs of students, focusing on their strengths and addressing weaknesses.
• Conduct regular mock tests and assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Guide students on effective exam strategies and time management techniques to maximize their scores.
• Stay up to date with changes to the TOEFL iBT test format and incorporate new materials and strategies into your teaching.
• Support students in improving their academic vocabulary, grammar, and overall fluency in English.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a high standard of education.
