Job Description
Hilton İstanbul Airport will open its doors in 2025.
Hilton İstanbul Airport will be the first Hilton brand at the Airport zone in Türkiye with 491 rooms and three F&D venues.
We are looking for the Director of Human Resources for this unique property
What will I be doing?
Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing first-class team member relations services to the General Manager and management team to deliver an excellent team member experience while assisting with Human Resources strategy and will be required to support employee relations and ensure compliance with team member training requirements.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide and deliver first-class Team Member Relations services to General Manager and management team
- Assist General Manager with Human Resources strategy including succession planning for team members
- Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinary, grievances, and capability
- Take role in candidate interviews and hiring process
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate legal checks are carried out
- Make sure employee food, lockers, back of the house are up to Hilton standards
- Help achieve departmental goals
- Support the Training Supervisor to achieve departmental training requirements
- Control costs when possible and assist in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets
- Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines
- Assist and resolve team member and management queries

- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
- Ability to work on their own or in teams
- Hilton Hotels experience is an advantage
