THE ROLE:

We are looking for the potential candidate for Bank and Treasury Specialist position in our Legendary Hotel Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.

What will I be doing?

As a Bank and Treasury Specialist, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• To receive all the bank account balances on a daily basis.
• To update cash flow on a daily basis.
• To contact the banks for the best available rates for REPO, time deposits to evaluate the excess cash.
• To prepare all daily cash movement documents for approvals, e.g. transfer between accounts, REPO, short-term time deposits.
• To prepare bank transfer letters for weekly/urgent payments.
• To provide information to designated team member to ensure postings of these transactions are done in line with the segregation of duties requirement.
• To inform COE Finance Manager of any critical cash situation or problematic events.
• To develop good relations with the banks.
• To handle all bank related matters for daily operation of the hotel’s bank accounts.
• To prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• To control bank postings and report any issues.
• To prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow reports.
• To ensure timely and appropriate reporting, filing and safekeeping of all bank and cash related documents.
• To provide all necessary documents to fulfil both internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure all monthly closing and reporting activities are carried out as per guidelines and deadlines, manage issues arising throughout the closing.
• Monthly internal / SOX controls to be performed, documented and submitted for review and approval.
• To follow the guidelines of Tax Office, financial and other governmental institutions.
• The management reserves the right to change /extend this statement if necessary at any point during her/his appointment.
• The holder of this statement can be asked to take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.

Additional Preferences:

• University Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Hotel Experience
